Virginia’s Story
Virginia lives in southcentral Ohio and is a mother of three grown children as well as a grandmother and great-grandmother. While her children were young and Virginia worked full-time, she began her college education, a life-long dream of hers. After eleven years of taking classes, she earned an associate and a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University focusing on business and communications graduating summa cum laude in 1995.
Her never-ending quest to learn took her through the Dale Carnegie course, the Apprentice program at the Christian Writers Guild, writers conferences throughout the years, and a Christian counseling diploma from Light University. In 2018 Virginia earned a Master of Arts in Ministry Studies from Grace College with the focus on women’s leadership skills.
Virginia’s desire is to encourage, uplift, exhort, and teach biblical truths to her Christian sisters. She has taught Bible studies to women in four different churches. She currently serves as the Sunday school teacher of the ladies’ class in her church.
Publication credits include her first Bible study, Change the Way You Think: Winning the Everyday Battles of the Mind, stories and non-fiction pieces for children’s Sunday school take-home papers, and articles in adult online magazines.
